CoralReef can extract and analyze IP packets from LANE for IEEE
802.3/Ethernet (non-multiplexed and LLC-multiplexed) over ATM AAL5.
It does not currently support LANE for IEEE 802.5.

You can send traffic to CoralReef with a mirror port, or you can insert
a splitter directly in the fiber (see the "splitters" section of the
CoralReef web page, http://www.caida.org/tools/measurement/coralreef/).
In either case, your monitor host will require either an ATM interface
that presents a standard network interface via the OS, or one of the
custom cards described in the "hardware" section of the CoralReef web
site.
