recommended by vijay and cinema books :)
the film is very good and quite original.
the closest i can think of is italian
neorealism, but s.ray differs from it
in almost lacking any intentional tear-
squeezing design, which is especially
unexpected for an indian director and
which makes the film more powerful
compared to italian analogies.
